The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), one of the centers operating under the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, announced the names of the winners of the “Safety Journey” Competition through its social media accounts. The Competition was launched in mid-January 2026 in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Doha Bank Group, which serves as a strategic partner in implementing the Competition concept.

In this context, Fadl Mohammed Al Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), expressed the Center’s commitment to raising children’s awareness of protection methods against violence and bullying through innovative approaches, such as the “Safety Journey” Game. He added that the idea of the Competition was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education by integrating the Game with students through the Qatar Education Platform affiliated with the Ministry.

The Competition attracted significant participation from students.  More than 800 submissions were received from across different educational stages. This level of engagement highlights the effectiveness of the Game’s awareness content and its ability to deliver key messages in an interactive and appealing way.

Mr. Fadl Al Kaabi praised the community partnership with Doha Bank Group, the strategic partner in the implementation of the Game concept and the “Safety Journey” Competition. A total of 20 student winners were recognized for their excellence and active engagement with the Competition’s objectives. The prizes, valued at QAR 10,000, were sponsored by Doha Bank Group and presented in the presence of representatives from the organizing and supporting entities, along with the parents of the winning students.

This Competition forms part of a broader series of awareness initiatives carried out by the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN) in collaboration with its partners, aimed at fostering a safer, more informed society and strengthening a culture of prevention among young people.

Notably, the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN) launched the “Safety Journey” Game, one of its interactive awareness initiatives, in November of last year, coinciding with World Children's Day. The Game is designed as a journey in which students progress through multiple stages representing landmarks from the State of Qatar, delivering purposeful awareness messages through a question-and-answer format. It offers an engaging and interactive alternative to traditional direct methods, helping convey the Center’s key messages to its target group of children. Through this initiative, AMAN Center aims to enhance children’s awareness and social education in the field of social protection, strengthen child protection mechanisms, and equip children with the knowledge and skills needed to protect themselves at home and in various public settings. It also seeks to instill positive values and develop a generation capable of safeguarding both themselves and their community.

Al Anoud Khalid Al Attiyah, Head of Public Relations and Marketing at Doha Bank Group, noted that, as part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility, it is committed to supporting awareness initiatives that reach all segments of society. She added that based on the Bank’s commitment, we collaborated with the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), one of the centers operating under the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, in recognizing the winners of the “Safety Journey” Competition, an initiative of particular significance as it aims to educate and raise awareness among children through an innovative and engaging approach.
